Wayanad - 4.5 Acre Land Near Muthanga

4.5 Acre land surrounded by forest at Muthanga, Wayanad.

Blooms acquired 4 Acre of this property in year 2007. After 2 years, few like-minded friends joined us to launch a ‘rear destination tourism project’ there by constructing huts-like structures. 30 to 40 cents registered in everyone’s name and we have started basic works – fencing, landscape etc.

There was only forest road at that time and we found it difficult to drive through the forest road during rainy season. Our efforts to get an approval from Forest department to make a proper road didn’t yield any result. 3 boundaries of this property are Forest and the only option to get connected to the Panchayat road is to buy private land in the 4th boundary. Persistent follow-ups and negotiations found result in 2012 and now we are connected to have drive access and electricity by acquiring adjacent private property with Panchayat Road boundary.

As our group members were in a hurry to launch their dream project, we acquired another property in ‘Makkiyad’ and already constructed two villas. Our entire group is OK to part with the Muthanga property if get a fair price.
